A BILL

1 AN ACT relating to labor and employment; increasing the
2 minimum hourly wage; repealing the minimum hourly wage
3 exceptions for tipped employees and youth; and providing
4 for an effective date.

6 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

8 Section 1. W.S. 27-4-202(a) is amended to read:
9
10 27-4-202. Minimum wage rates.
11
12 (a) Every employer shall pay to each of his or her
13 employees wages at a rate a minimum wage of not less than
14 five dollars and fifteen cents ($5.15) fifteen dollars
15 ($15.00) per hour.

2 Section 2. W.S. 27-4-202(b) and (c) is repealed.

4 Section 3. This act is effective July 1, 2021.
