House Concurrent Resolution 25, introduced by Delegates Sheedy and others on February 14, 2025, requests the Division of Highways to rename a specific section of U.S. Route 250, located just north of the Moundsville city limits to just north of the intersection with W.V. Route 891, as "Waynesburg Pike Road." This renaming is in accordance with the designation made by the Marshall County 911 Infrastructure Renaming Committee.

Additionally, the resolution calls for the installation of a sign at the intersection of W.V. Route 88 and U.S. Route 250 to acknowledge the new name.
