1 AN ACT expiring funds to the unappropriated surplus balance in the State Fund, General
2 Revenue, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, in the amount of $15,000,000 from the
3 Executive, Treasurer’s Office, Unclaimed Property Fund, fund 1324, fiscal year 2025,
4 organization 1300.
1 WHEREAS, The Governor finds that the account balance in the Executive, Treasurer’s
2 Office, Unclaimed Property Fund, fund 1324, fiscal year 2025, organization 1300, exceeds that
3 which is necessary for the purposes for which the account was established; therefore Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
1 That the balance of the funds available for expenditure in the fiscal year ending June 30,
2 2025, in the Executive, Treasurer’s Office, Unclaimed Property Fund, fund 1324, fiscal year 2025,
3 organization 1300, be decreased by expiring the amount of $15,000,000 to the unappropriated
4 surplus balance of the State Fund, General Revenue, to be available for appropriation during the
5 fiscal year ending June 30, 2025.
