1 A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section,
2 designated §49-2-131, relating to services rendered to children of child care program
3 employees.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
ARTICLE 2. STATE RESPONSIBILITIES FOR CHILDREN.
§49-2-131. Child care subsidy eligibility for employees of child care programs.
1 Child care program employees who work a minimum of 20 hours per week, regardless of
2 household income, are eligible for the child care subsidy program through the Department of
3 Human Services.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to ensure child care employees are eligible for the child care subsidy program.
