1 AN ACT supplementing, amending, and increasing existing items of appropriation from the State
2 Road Fund to the Department of Transportation, Division of Highways, fund 9017, fiscal
3 year 2024, organization 0803, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.
1 WHEREAS, The Governor submitted to the Legislature the Executive Budget Document,
2 dated January 10, 2024, which included a statement of the State Road Fund setting forth therein
3 the cash balances and investments as of July 1, 2023, and further included the estimate of
4 revenues for the fiscal year 2024, less regular appropriations for the fiscal year 2024; and
5 WHEREAS, It appears from the statement of the State Road Fund there now remains an
6 unappropriated balance in the State Treasury which is available for appropriation during the fiscal
7 year ending June 30, 2024; therefore Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
1 That the total appropriation for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024, to fund 9017, fiscal
2 year 2024, organization 0803, be supplemented and amended by increasing existing items of
3 appropriation as follows:
