1 A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to
2 authorizing the West Virginia Board of Examiners in Counseling to promulgate a legislative
3 rule relating to licensing.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
ARTICLE 9. AUTHORIZATION FOR MISCELLANEOUS BOARDS AND AGENCIES TO
PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.
§64-9-1. West Virginia Board of Examiners in Counseling.
1 The legislative rule filed in the State Register on October 6, 2023, authorized under the
2 authority of §30-31-6 of this code, modified by the West Virginia Board of Examiners in Counseling
3 to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and refiled in the State
4 Register on November 15, 2023, relating to the West Virginia Board of Examiners in Counseling
5 (licensing rule, 27 CSR 01), is authorized.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the West Virginia Board of Examiners in
Counseling to promulgate a legislative rule relating to licensing.
