1 A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to
2 authorizing the West Virginia Board of Registered Nurses to promulgate a legislative rule
3 relating to advanced practice registered nurse licensure requirements.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
ARTICLE 9. AUTHORIZATION FOR MISCELLANEOUS BOARDS AND AGENCIES TO
PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.
§64-9-1. West Virginia Board of Registered Nurses.
1 The legislative rule filed in the State Register on July 26, 2023, authorized under the
2 authority of §30-7-4 of this code, relating to the West Virginia Board of Registered Nurses
3 (advanced practice registered nurse licensure requirements, 19 CSR 07), is authorized.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the West Virginia Board of Registered Nurses to promulgate a legislative rule relating to advanced practice registered nurse licensure requirements.
