1 AN ACT expiring funds to the balance of the Department of Education, Vocational Consolidated
2 Accounts Fund, fund 3945, fiscal year 2024, organization 0402, in the amount of
3 $12,000,000, from the State Department of Education, fund 3517, organization 0402, by
4 supplementing and amending the appropriations for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.
1 Whereas, The Governor finds that the account balance in the State Department of
2 Education, fund 3517, fiscal year 2024, organization 0402, exceeds that which is necessary for the
3 purposes for which the account was established; therefore Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
1 That the balance of funds available for expenditure in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024
2 to the State Department of Education, fund 3517, fiscal year 2024, organization 0402, be
3 decreased by expiring the amount of $12,000,000 to the Department of Education, Vocational
4 Consolidated Accounts Fund, fund 3945, organization 0402.
