1 A BILL supplementing and amending the appropriations of public moneys out of the Treasury
2 from the balance of moneys remaining as an unappropriated surplus balance in the State
3 Fund, General Revenue, to the Department of Administration, Office of Technology, fund
4 0204, fiscal year 2022, organization 0231, by supplementing and amending Chapter 11,
5 Acts of the Legislature, Regular Session, 2021, known as the budget bill for the fiscal year
6 ending June 30, 2022.
7 Whereas, The Governor submitted the Executive Budget Document to the Legislature on
8 January 12, 2022, containing a statement of the State Fund, General Revenue, setting forth
9 therein the cash balance as of July 1, 2021, and further included the estimate of revenue for the
10 fiscal year 2022, less net appropriation balances forwarded and regular and surplus
11 appropriations for the fiscal year 2022, and further included recommended expirations to the
12 unappropriated surplus balance of the State Fund General Revenue; and
13 Whereas, It appears from the Governor’s Statement of the State Fund, General Revenue,
14 and this legislation, there now remains an unappropriated surplus balance in the Treasury which
15 is available for appropriation during the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022; therefore
16 Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
17 That Chapter 11, Acts of the Legislature, Regular Session, 2021, known as the budget
18 bill, be supplemented and amended by adding a new item of appropriation to Title II, Section 1
19 thereof, the following:
20 TITLE II – APPROPRIATIONS.
21 Section 1. Appropriations from general revenue.

30 The above appropriation for Directed Transfer – Surplus (fund 0204, appropriation 70099)
31 shall be transferred to the Department of Administration, Office of Technology – Chief Technology
32 Officer Administration Fund (fund 2531).
NOTE: The purpose of this supplemental appropriation bill is to add a new item of
appropriation in the aforesaid account from the State Fund, General Revenue, for the fiscal year 2022.
