1 AN ACT supplementing and amending the appropriations of public moneys out of the State
2 Treasury from the balance of moneys remaining as an unappropriated surplus balance in
3 the State Fund, General Revenue, to the Department of Administration, Office of
4 Technology, fund 0204, fiscal year 2022, organization 0231, by supplementing and
5 amending chapter 11, Acts of the Legislature, regular session, 2021, known as the Budget
6 Bill for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022.
1 Whereas, The Governor submitted the Executive Budget Document to the Legislature on
2 January 12, 2022, containing a Statement of the State Fund, General Revenue, setting forth
3 therein the cash balance as of July 1, 2021, and further included the estimate of revenue for the
4 fiscal year 2022, less net appropriation balances forwarded and regular and surplus
5 appropriations for the fiscal year 2022, and further included recommended expirations to the
6 unappropriated surplus balance of the State Fund, General Revenue; and
7 Whereas, It appears from the Governor’s Statement of the State Fund, General Revenue,
8 and this legislation, there now remains an unappropriated surplus balance in the State Treasury
9 which is available for appropriation during the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022; therefore Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
1 That chapter 11, Acts of the Legislature, regular session, 2021, known as the Budget Bill,
2 be supplemented and amended by adding a new item of appropriation to Title II, Section 1 thereof,
3 the following:
