The 2025 Senate Joint Resolution 48, introduced by Senator Quinn and co-sponsored by Representative Green, recognizes and congratulates Knights of Columbus Council 499 for their 125 years of dedicated service to the Catholic Church and the broader community. Today, with 105 active members, Council 499 continues to uphold its commitment to charitable work through extensive volunteer efforts. Their contributions provide essential financial support to various local initiatives, including educational programs at Cathedral School and St. Anthony's parish, as well as services for adults with developmental disabilities at the Challenge Center.
