1 AN ACT to create 84.10383 of the statutes; relating to: designating and marking
2 the Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm Memorial Highway.

This bill directs the Department of Transportation to designate and mark the
entire route of STH 80 as the “Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm Memorial
Highway."

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
3 SECTION 1. 84.10383 of the statutes is created to read:
4 84.10383 Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm Memorial
5 Highway. The department shall designate and mark the entire route of STH 80 as
6 the “Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm Memorial Highway" as a living

1 memorial to, and in honor of, all Wisconsin veterans, living and dead, of both
2 Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm.
