1 AN ACT to repeal 121.91 (2m) (t) 2.; and to renumber 121.91 (2m) (t) 1. of the
2 statutes; relating to: calculating a consolidated school district's revenue limit.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
JOINT LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL PREFATORY NOTE: This draft was prepared for the Joint
Legislative Council's Study Committee on Shared School District Services.
Under current law, if two or more school districts are consolidated or if a union high
school district is consolidated with its included elementary school districts and an excess
revenue has been approved under a recurring or nonrecurring referendum for one or
more of the affected school districts for school years beginning on or after the effective
date of the consolidation, the approval of the referendum for those school years expires
on the effective date of the consolidation.
The bill repeals this requirement.
3 SECTION 1. 121.91 (2m) (t) 1. of the statutes is renumbered 121.91 (2m) (t).
4 SECTION 2. 121.91 (2m) (t) 2. of the statutes is repealed.
