Furthermore, the bill defines "health care provider" and outlines the criteria for who qualifies as such, including individuals regulated to practice health services in Washington and their employees or agents. It also empowers the department to create a confirmation form for health care providers. The new provisions are set to take effect on May 1, 2027.
