The Washington State House of Representatives has passed a resolution to honor the Columbia River High School Volleyball Team for their remarkable achievement in winning the 2023-2024 state championship. This victory marks the team's fourth consecutive 2A state title, culminating in a thrilling five-set final match. The resolution highlights the exceptional performances of key players, including Senior Captain Sydney Dreves, who was named tournament MVP and recognized as the All-State 2A Player of the Year, and sophomore Sophia Gourley, who contributed significantly to the team's success with impressive statistics.
