He has also practiced law in prominent Seattle firms and founded his own consulting firm, Patrick Dunn & Associates, where he represented a diverse array of clients on numerous issues affecting the state.

Throughout his career, Pat has been a dedicated advocate for various causes, including healthcare, education, and environmental issues, while also providing pro bono assistance to initiatives like the creation of TVW. He has mentored many individuals in public service and has been a beloved figure in the legislature, embodying a spirit of camaraderie and respect. As he prepares to conclude his lobbying career on July 31, 2024, the Senate expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Pat and his family for his years of service and commitment to the citizens of Washington.
