The Washington State House of Representatives has adopted a resolution to recognize the outstanding achievements of the Chelan High School volleyball team, which has secured the 1A volleyball state championship, marking their fourth consecutive title. The team had an impressive season, finishing with only two losses, and entered the tournament as the number one seed after winning both league and district titles, as well as a regional crossover match.
The resolution also acknowledges the vital role played by the coaching staff, including Head Coach Abby Lewellen, and the support from Principal Jamie Pancho and other staff members at Chelan High School. The House of Representatives extends its congratulations not only to the team but also to their fans, alumni, and the entire community for this remarkable accomplishment.
