HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 2024-4685, by Representatives Goehner and Steele
1 WHEREAS, The Washington State House of Representatives recognize
2 excellence in all fields and endeavors; and
3 WHEREAS, The Manson High School Girls Cross Country team has won
4 the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association 2023 Fall
5 Academic State Champions award; and
6 WHEREAS, This award is given to teams with the highest average
7 grade point average for their activity and classification; and
8 WHEREAS, Manson High School's team of five girls have achieved an
9 average grade point average of 3.970; and
10 WHEREAS, This award is a testament to the hard work, dedication,
11 and determination these athletes put towards their academic studies;
12 and
13 WHEREAS, These athletes all have standout talent on and off the
14 field, shown by their outstanding performance in their sports while
15 maintaining a high grade point average; and
16 WHEREAS, A great team must have a great staff around it; Head
17 Coach Jeffrey England, the assistant coaching staff, Principal Kamie
18 Kronbauer, teachers, and all the other staff at Manson High School
19 that help these girls are crucial to their successes;
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives
21 congratulate the Manson High School Girls Cross Country team on their
22 academic state championship; and

 1 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be
2 immediately transmitted by the Chief Clerk of the House of
3 Representatives to the Superintendent of Manson Public Schools,
4 Principal of Manson High School, and the Cross Country Coaching
5 Staff.
