The Washington State Senate has adopted a resolution to recognize and congratulate the Mount Si High School Wildcats for their outstanding achievement as the 2023 4A Washington Interscholastic Activities Association Girls' Cross Country State Champions. This victory marks the first-ever girls 4A state team title for the Mount Si High School Girls Cross Country Team. The resolution highlights the impressive performances of team members, including Aleeya Cossey and Hailey Cossey, who finished fourth and fifth respectively, contributing significantly to the team's overall success.
