The resolution congratulates Ella Palisano, a senior at Mt. Anthony Union High School, for setting a new Vermont girls indoor track and field high jump record of five feet, nine inches. This achievement surpasses her previous record of five feet, seven inches, which she set as a ninth grader. The resolution highlights the significance of the high jump event and acknowledges the support and mentorship she received from her coaches, particularly Head Track and Field Coach Paul Redding, as well as the Vermont track and field community.

In addition to celebrating her record-setting performance at the 2026 Vermont indoor track and field championship, the resolution extends best wishes to Ella as she prepares to continue her athletic career at the Ohio State University.
