The resolution congratulates the Stowe High School boys Nordic ski team for their outstanding performance in the 2026 Division II championship. The team showcased exceptional skill and teamwork during the Vermont Principals Associations boys Nordic skiing championship tournament, held over two days at the Rikert Outdoor Center and the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. They achieved a remarkable victory, clinching first place in both individual and relay races, and finished with a total of 71 points, significantly outpacing second-place Peoples Academy, which scored 145 points.

The resolution also highlights the contributions of the team members: Heath Colbert-Lourie, Nico DeLena, Chris Graupe, Hawkley Mitchell, Dean Roy, Travis Roy, James Rozendaal, Paul Slesar, Henry Sterner, Soren Wilkens, and Charles Zimmerman, as well as first-year Head Coach Ethan Self. Additionally, it notes that four members of the team were selected to represent Vermont at the 2026 NENSA Eastern High School Championships. The General Assembly expresses its pride in the team's achievements and directs the Secretary of State to send a copy of the resolution to Stowe High School.
