The House Concurrent Resolution congratulates the Stowe High School boys Nordic ski team for their outstanding achievement in the 2026 Vermont Principals Associations boys Nordic skiing championship tournament. The competition took place over two days at the Rikert Outdoor Center and the Craftsbury Outdoor Center, where the Stowe team demonstrated exceptional skill and teamwork, clinching first place in both individual and relay races. Their impressive performance resulted in a total score of 71 points, significantly surpassing the second-place team, Peoples Academy, which scored 145 points.

The resolution highlights the contributions of the team members: Heath Colbert-Lourie, Nico DeLena, Chris Graupe, Hawkley Mitchell, Dean Roy, Travis Roy, James Rozendaal, Paul Slesar, Henry Sterner, Soren Wilkens, and Charles Zimmerman, as well as the promising leadership of first-year Head Coach Ethan Self. Additionally, four members of the team were selected to represent Vermont at the 2026 NENSA Eastern High School Championships in New York. The resolution concludes by directing the Secretary of State to send a copy to Stowe High School, recognizing the team's remarkable accomplishments.
