The House Concurrent Resolution congratulates the Mt. Mansfield Union High School (MMU) Cougars girls Nordic ski team for winning their second consecutive Division I championship in 2025. The championship consisted of a two-day event featuring freestyle and classic skiing competitions held at the Rikert Outdoor Center and Craftsbury Outdoor Center, respectively. The Cougars excelled in both the freestyle relay and individual races, achieving top times and significantly outpacing their competitors, including runner-up St. Johnsbury Academy.

The resolution highlights the outstanding performance of the team members, including Elizabeth Compo, Katherine Compo, and others, as well as the expert coaching provided by Wylie Picotte and Al Sartwell, which contributed to their success. The General Assembly expresses its pride in the team's accomplishments and directs the Secretary of State to send a copy of the resolution to MMU, recognizing their achievement in the sport of Nordic skiing.
