The House of Representatives of Vermont has passed a concurrent resolution congratulating the 2026 Bellows Free Academy-St. Albans Bobwhites boys basketball team for their remarkable achievement in winning the Division I championship. After 39 years of striving for championship success, the team, despite being seeded sixth in the playoffs, demonstrated resilience and skill throughout the season. They secured a spot in the championship game against the top-seeded Rice Memorial High School Green Knights and triumphed with a final score of 54-48, marking a significant milestone in the school's athletic history.

The resolution highlights the outstanding performance of the Bobwhites, including key players such as Lucas Robert, Tripp Rabtoy, and Max Sweeney, as well as the leadership of Head Coach Tristan Menard and assistant coaches Shawn Earl and Sean Sweeney. The General Assembly expresses its pride in the team's accomplishments and directs the Secretary of State to send a copy of the resolution to the school, celebrating this historic victory for the Bellows Free Academy-St. Albans community.
