The House Concurrent Resolution congratulates the Hazen Union High School Wildcats boys basketball team for winning the Division III championship in 2026. After a series of near misses in the previous three years, the Wildcats, determined to secure the title, faced the top-ranked Randolph Galloping Ghosts in the championship game. Despite trailing at halftime, the Wildcats rallied in the second half, ultimately achieving a decisive 66-49 victory, much to the delight of their fans.

The resolution acknowledges the contributions of the players, coaches, and team managers who played vital roles in the team's success. It recognizes the efforts of Head Coach Aaron Hill and assistant coaches, as well as the support from team managers Blair Demers and Zander Dimick. The General Assembly expresses its congratulations and directs the Secretary of State to send a copy of the resolution to Hazen Union High School to commemorate this achievement.
