The House concurrent resolution R-300 congratulates the Hazen Union High School Wildcats boys basketball team for winning the Division III championship in 2026. After a series of near misses in the previous three years, the Wildcats, determined to secure the title, faced the top-ranked Randolph Galloping Ghosts in the championship game. Despite trailing at halftime, the Wildcats rallied in the second half, ultimately achieving a decisive 66-49 victory, much to the delight of their fans.

The resolution acknowledges the contributions of the team members, including Jeter Demers, Kobe Smith, and others, as well as the leadership of Head Coach Aaron Hill and his assistant coaches. It also recognizes the support provided by team managers. The General Assembly expresses its pride in the team's accomplishment and directs the Secretary of State to send a copy of the resolution to Hazen Union High School.
