The resolution congratulates the 2026 Mount Anthony Union High School Patriots for their remarkable achievement in winning the Division I boys Nordic skiing championship. The competition, which included both freestyle and classic races, took place at the Rikert Outdoor Center and the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. The Patriots showcased their exceptional skills by winning all four races, including the classic, classic relay, freestyle, and freestyle relay, resulting in a low point total that secured their victory over second-place Champlain Valley Union High School.

The resolution highlights the contributions of the talented team members—Carson Andrick, Eli McEnaney, Henry Morrison, Liam Mulligan, Hunter Favreau, Abeh Woods, Max Cutsumpas, Orion Breese, Colin Gulley, Quentin Phillips, and Edgar Ostler—as well as the guidance of Head Coach Rob Short and Assistant Coach Gabe Niles. The General Assembly expresses its pride in the team's accomplishments and directs the Secretary of State to send a copy of the resolution to Mount Anthony Union High School to commemorate this significant achievement.
