Although Colchester later faced Essex Town in the state semifinals and did not advance, their journey was commendable.

The resolution recognizes the talented players on the Colchester team, including Cooper Carney, Hayden Critchlow, and others, as well as the leadership of Head Coach Brennan Carney and assistant coaches.
