The House Concurrent Resolution congratulates the 2025 West Rutland High School Golden Hordes softball team for their remarkable achievement in winning the Division IV championship. The team, which was seeded first in the playoffs, showcased an impressive performance during the championship game against the Leland & Gray Rebels, ultimately winning with a score of 19-4. This victory not only highlights the team's resilience, as they overcame a temporary setback, but also marks the sixth athletic title for the class of 2025 at West Rutland High School.

The resolution recognizes the outstanding contributions of the players, including Isabella Coombs, Peyton Guay, and others, as well as the coaching staff led by Head Coach Laurie Serrani. The General Assembly expresses its pride in the team's success and perseverance, and directs the Secretary of State to send a copy of the resolution to West Rutland High School to commemorate this achievement.
