The House concurrent resolution honors Micheline "Michy" Lemay of Stowe for her exceptional contributions to outdoor recreation and mindfulness leadership. A graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a major in outdoor education, Lemay has had a diverse career, including serving as a mindfulness instructor and co-owning Rugged Adventures Summer Camp, which provides outdoor activities for youth. Despite facing significant health challenges, including multiple surgeries and a breast cancer diagnosis, she has demonstrated remarkable resilience and commitment to personal healing through mindfulness practices.

In 2024, Lemay embarked on an ambitious project called the "Mansfield Million," where she aimed to ascend one million feet up Mount Mansfield using non-motorized means, successfully completing this goal within a year. Additionally, she has led initiatives to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer, further solidifying her role as an inspiring figure in the Stowe community. The resolution acknowledges her achievements and contributions, directing the Secretary of State to send a copy to her as a token of recognition.
