The House Concurrent Resolution congratulates the Thetford Academy Panthers for their remarkable achievement of winning a sixth consecutive Division III boys track and field championship. The Panthers demonstrated their dominance at the championship meet held at the D.G. Weaver Athletic Complex in Burlington, where they excelled in multiple events, scoring a total of 164.5 points, significantly outpacing the runner-up, White River Valley, which scored 65.5 points. Their victories included first-place finishes in the 100-meter, 400-meter, 800-meter, and 1,500-meter dashes, as well as in the relays and field events.

Additionally, the resolution highlights the Panthers' impressive performance at the New England Interscholastic Outdoor Track and Field Championship, where they set three new Vermont State records and earned two championship medals for the first time. The resolution acknowledges the contributions of the athletes, co-head coaches, assistant coaches, and team manager, celebrating their collective success in the 2025 season. The General Assembly directs that a copy of this resolution be sent to Thetford Academy to commemorate their achievements.
