Additionally, he has actively supported Shaftsbury Elementary School, mentored local youth, and hosted community events at his Loomis Sugar House.

The resolution highlights Loomis's numerous contributions, including his role in fundraising for the Shaftsbury Fire Department and mentoring candidates for the Boy Scouts Eagle Scout rank. His commitment to helping others is evident through his acts of kindness, such as snow plowing for neighbors and assisting the elderly and critically ill. In recognition of his exemplary service and community spirit, the resolution expresses the General Assembly's congratulations to Ronald Loomis and directs the Secretary of State to send him a copy of the resolution.
