The House concurrent resolution No. R-136 congratulates Capital City Concerts and its founder, Karen Kevra, for 25 years of enriching the cultural landscape of central Vermont through classical music performances. In response to the July 2023 floods in central Vermont, the organization organized a benefit concert that raised $10,000 for relief efforts. The resolution acknowledges the significant impact of Capital City Concerts on the community and its role in enhancing the cultural reputation of the area, and it directs the Secretary of State to send a copy of the resolution to both Capital City Concerts and Karen Kevra.
