The resolution congratulates the 2025 Mount Mansfield Union High School Cougars boys Nordic ski team for their outstanding performance in the Division I championship. Over the course of the two-day competition, the Cougars demonstrated their dominance on the trails, achieving remarkable results at both the Craftsbury Outdoor Center and the Prospect Mountain Nordic Ski Center. Notably, they secured the best overall score on the first day and captured the team title by outscoring their closest competitor, Champlain Valley Union High School, during the second day’s events.

The resolution acknowledges the individual achievements of the team members, including their impressive placements in both the freestyle and classic skiing events, as well as their victory in the relay. The team members recognized in the resolution include Andres Miguez, Ben Witters, and many others, along with their coaches Wylie Picotte, Al Sartwell, and Eden Shullenberger, who expressed pride in their accomplishments. The General Assembly officially congratulates the team and directs the Secretary of State to send a copy of the resolution to Mount Mansfield Union High School.
