The House concurrent resolution No. R-105 congratulates the North Country Union High School Falcons snowboarding teams for their outstanding performances at the 2025 State championship meet held at Jay Peak Resort. The resolution highlights the impressive achievements of both the girls' and boys' teams, noting that the girls secured a strong second-place overall score, with one member winning the individual State girls title and another finishing in third place. The boys' team excelled by winning both the giant slalom and the rail jam competitions, ultimately bringing home the school's first snowboarding title.
The resolution acknowledges the hard work and dedication of the athletes, including the girls' team members Aine Remmers, Dakotah Bowen, and others, as well as the boys' team members Carson Limlaw, Logan Ellis, and their teammates. It also recognizes the contributions of Head Coach Robert Walls-Thumma and Assistant Coach Beth Koennincke in guiding the teams to their successes. The General Assembly expresses its pride in the Falcons' achievements and directs the Secretary of State to send a copy of the resolution to North Country High School.
