The House concurrent resolution No. R-106 congratulates the 2025 Montpelier High School Solons Division II girls Nordic championship ski team for their outstanding achievement in the winter of 2025. The team, which had previously secured second place in the two years leading up to this championship, demonstrated exceptional skill and preparation throughout the competition. The two-day event included freestyle runs in Craftsbury and classical racing at Prospect Mountain, where the Solons ultimately emerged victorious, clinching the Nordic skiing title.

The resolution acknowledges the individual members of the championship team, including Phoebe Bakeman, Sara Saligman McGill, Anna Newara, Adele Pritchard, Clare Pritchard, Miriam Serota-Winston, Marie Voisin, and Anna Wetherell, as well as their Head Coach Brian Carlson and assistant coaches Jason Serota-Winston and Hugh Pritchard. The General Assembly expresses its pride in the team's accomplishments and directs the Secretary of State to send a copy of the resolution to Montpelier High School as a formal recognition of their success.
