The resolution congratulates the Montpelier High School Solons Division II girls Nordic ski team for their outstanding achievement in winning the 2025 Nordic skiing championship. The team, which had previously secured second place in the two years leading up to this victory, showcased their skills and preparation during a two-day competition that included freestyle runs in Craftsbury and classical racing at Prospect Mountain. The team members recognized for their contributions to this success include Phoebe Bakeman, Sara Saligman McGill, Anna Newara, Adele Pritchard, Clare Pritchard, Miriam Serota-Winston, Marie Voisin, and Anna Wetherell, under the guidance of Head Coach Brian Carlson and assistant coaches Jason Serota-Winston and Hugh Pritchard.
