The resolution congratulates the Fair Haven Union High School Slaters bowling team for winning the 2025 State championship. During the season, the Slaters, who were the second seed, faced tough competition from the top-seeded Randolph Union High Galloping Ghosts. After successfully defeating South Burlington and Essex in the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds, the Slaters faced their archrival in the championship match at the Spare Time bowling facility in Colchester. Despite losing the first game, the team rallied to win four out of the next six games, ultimately clinching the title.

The resolution highlights the team's impressive performance and acknowledges the contributions of the players, including Wyatt DeLance, Aiden Goyette, and others, as well as the leadership of Head Coach Joe Donaldson and Assistant Coach Ron Carrara. Following their victory, the team was celebrated with a caravan of over 20 cars escorting them back to school in Castleton. The General Assembly expresses its congratulations and directs the Secretary of State to send a copy of the resolution to Fair Haven Union High School.
