The resolution congratulates the Fair Haven Union High School Slaters bowling team for winning the 2025 State championship. During the season, the Slaters, who were the second seed, faced tough competition, particularly from the top-ranked Randolph Union High Galloping Ghosts. After successfully defeating South Burlington and Essex in the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds, the Slaters faced Randolph in the championship match at the Spare Time bowling facility in Colchester. Despite losing the first game, the team rallied to win four out of the next six games, ultimately clinching the title.

The resolution highlights the team's impressive performance and the support they received from the community, including a celebratory caravan of over 20 cars that escorted them back to school. It recognizes the contributions of the championship bowlers—Wyatt DeLance, Aiden Goyette, Nathan Bessette, Inshik Adams-Silva, Emma Eckler, Eli Donaldson, Dylan Bania, Michael Towle, Korbin Hayes, George Stamp, Madison Stamp, and Amberlyn Haley—as well as Head Coach Joe Donaldson and Assistant Coach Ron Carrara. The General Assembly expresses its congratulations and directs the Secretary of State to send a copy of the resolution to Fair Haven Union High School.
