The House concurrent resolution No. R-96 honors Robin Lunge for her exemplary public service in Vermont State government. Lunge's career spans various roles across the three branches of government, showcasing her commitment to serving all Vermonters. She is a graduate of Brattleboro Union High School, holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from Cornell University Law School. Her professional journey includes positions as a Vermont State trial court clerk, a private law practitioner, and a nonpartisan Legislative Counsel staff attorney, where she provided legal support on health care and international trade matters.

In addition to her legislative work, Lunge served as a budget analyst in Washington, D.C., and was appointed by Governor Peter Shumlin as the Director of State Health Care Reform, focusing on the introduction of single-payer health insurance. In November 2016, she joined the Green Mountain Care Board, where her extensive health care experience and a master's degree in health care science from Dartmouth College contributed to her role as an independent thinker. As she transitions to a new position as the Senior Outreach Representative for Health Care for U.S. Senator Welch, the resolution expresses gratitude for her dedicated service and directs the Secretary of State to send her a copy of the resolution.
