The House Concurrent Resolution honors Michael Krasnow for his dedicated service to the Town of Charlotte, where he has been a member of the Board of Civil Authority (BCA) for 27 years, serving as its chair. The BCA plays a crucial role in tax adjudication and electoral administration for the town. In addition to his work with the BCA, Krasnow has made significant contributions as the Ski and Ride Program Coordinator, where he has introduced many young people to skiing and snowboarding, fostering a love for winter sports that began in his childhood.

Krasnow's passion for skiing led him to volunteer with the Ski and Ride Program at Charlotte Central School after relocating to Vermont in 1989. He has successfully overseen the participation of numerous students in night skiing sessions at Bolton Valley Resort, emphasizing the social experience of the sport. His leadership has also included managing a ski and snowboard fitting project that provides essential equipment to local youth. The resolution acknowledges his impactful role in the community and directs the Secretary of State to send a copy to him as a token of appreciation.
