Gracie was a highly regarded police officer, known for her significant contributions to law enforcement, including over 500 deployments and the recovery of drugs and currency valued at more than $1.6 million. Her presence was felt not only in her professional duties but also in the community, where she participated in local school visits and community events, earning the respect and admiration of Bennington residents.

In recognition of her service, the resolution expresses condolences to the Bennington Police Department and Gracie's many admirers.
