The House Concurrent Resolution congratulates the Richford Junior-Senior High School girls soccer team for their remarkable achievement in winning the 2024 Division IV championship. The team, which entered the playoffs as the 11th seed, surprised many by reaching the championship game against the top-ranked and undefeated West Rutland Golden Horde. Despite being down by two goals at halftime, the Richford Rockets showcased their determination and skill by scoring three goals in the second half, ultimately securing a 3-2 victory and earning the school's first-ever girls soccer title.

The resolution acknowledges the outstanding performance of the players, including Vanessa Tessier, Teddy Roberts, and others, as well as the leadership of Head Coach Liza Bordo and her assistant coaches. It expresses the General Assembly's pride in the team's accomplishment and directs the Secretary of State to send a copy of the resolution to Richford Junior-Senior High School as a formal recognition of their success.
