14 Statement of purpose of bill as introduced: This bill proposes to enable a
15 Vermont resident who is a current or prospective early childhood provider to
16 receive a scholarship for current early childhood providers pursuant to 33
17 V.S.A. § 3541 or a scholarship for prospective early childhood providers
18 pursuant to 33 V.S.A. § 3542, respectively, regardless of the individual’s
19 citizenship status. This bill further proposes to enable a Vermont resident to
20 operate a regulated child care facility pursuant to 33 V.S.A. § 3502 regardless
21 of the individual’s citizenship status.
