7 Statement of purpose of bill as introduced: This bill proposes to update the
8 delivery and governance of Vermont’s workforce system based on
9 recommendations from the Special Oversight Committee on Workforce
10 Expansion and Development.
11 An act relating to revising the delivery and governance of the Vermont
12 workforce system
13 It is hereby enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Vermont:
14 Sec. 1. VERMONT WORKFORCE EXPANSION AND DEVELOPMENT
15 BOARD
16 It is the intent of the General Assembly to implement, as it sees fit, the
17 recommendations from the Special Oversight Committee on Workforce
18 Expansion and Development (SOCWED) on the delivery and governance of
19 Vermont’s workforce system pursuant to 2022 Acts and Resolves No. 183,
20 Sec. 5.
