Act No. 116 (S.196). An act relating to the types of evidence permitted in weight of the
evidence hearings
Subjects: Criminal procedure; crimes; bail; admissibility of evidence
This act permits evidence to be submitted in weight of the evidence hearings to not
conform to the rules of evidence. However, this act permitting nonconforming evidence
does nothing to alter the existing standard applied to determine whether evidence of guilt
is great.
