Act No. 92 (H.363). An act relating to prohibiting discrimination based on certain hair
types and styles
Subjects: Housing; labor; commerce and trade; fair employment practices;
discrimination; public accommodations; hair
This act prohibits discrimination based on traits associated with race, including hair
type, hair texture, hairstyles, and protective hairstyles in employment and in places of
public accommodation.
