Act No. 10 (H. 190). An act relating to removing the residency requirement from
Vermont’s patient choice at end of life laws
Subjects: Health; patient choice at end of life; residency
This act eliminates the requirement that a patient with a terminal condition must be a
Vermont resident in order to be eligible for medication to be self-administered to hasten
the patient’s own death in accordance with Vermont’s patient choice at end of life laws.
