Act No. 9 (H. 35). An act relating to the Victims Assistance Program
Subjects: Crimes; Victims Assistance Program
This act moves the Victims Assistance Program from the Center for Crime Victim
Services to the Department of State’s Attorneys and Sheriffs, makes small changes to the
services provided to victims under the Program to reflect current practice, and changes
the name to the Victim Advocate Program.
