(This amendment increases the Hazardous Duty Supplement, which is provided to employees who retire with at least 20 years of hazardous duty service credit. This amendment provides a supplement increase from the current amount of $1,407 per month to $1,800 per month in the first year, and then from $1,800 to $2,200 per month in the second year. This increase would cover the cost of family health care plans provided by the state.)
