Compensation for wrongful incarceration; compensation for certain intentional acts. Provides that no person who is eligible to receive compensation for wrongful incarceration as the result of an intentional act committed by an officer or employee of the Commonwealth shall be required to execute a release and waiver of such officer, employee, or political subdivision employing such officer or employee before receiving compensation. The bill also removes the requirement that provides such additional compensation for intentional acts shall not become effective until the wrongfully incarcerated person enters into an agreement with the agency or locality that fabricated and withheld evidence whereby such agency or locality matches the amount of compensation provided by the Commonwealth.
