This bill addresses uterine fibroid research and education.
This bill:
- requires the Department of Health and Human Services (department) to coordinate research and education related to uterine fibroids;
- permits the department to coordinate with medical research organizations to carry out the department's research and education coordination efforts, including data sharing;
- requires the department to report to the Health and Human Services Interim Committee;
- provides a repeal date for research and education efforts, and related reporting requirements;
- makes technical and conforming changes; and
- defines terms.
