This bill deals with the withdrawal procedure from a first responder district.
This bill:
- defines terms and modifies definitions;
- provides a process for a county of the first class to initiate withdrawal from a first responder district;
- modifies the process to conduct a feasibility study on withdrawal from a first responder district;
- modifies the obligations of a board of trustees of a special district to file with the lieutenant governor certain documents after receiving notice of withdrawal; and
- makes technical and conforming changes.
