This resolution encourages the State Board of Education and local education agencies to create and offer instruction in courses that will prepare students for certain careers. This resolution: - acknowledges the importance of specialized technical skills and industry-recognized credentials for a skilled workforce and improved economic strength; - supports efforts to improve technical education; and - encourages the State Board of Education and local education agencies to:expand instruction related to technical education;collaborate with certain partners; anduse certain existing programs.
